What is the Astrocartography Map?

Astrocartography places planetary angles on a world map for a birth moment. This version draws all four lines for each planet: rising (Ascendant), setting (Descendant), Midheaven (MC) and IC.

The lines are symbolic overlays, not evidence that a place will guarantee success, safety, relationships or wellbeing. Use practical information when considering travel or a move.

How it works

Ecliptic positions are converted to right ascension and declination. MC lines come from right ascension and Greenwich sidereal time; rising and setting curves come from the hour angle at which each planet crosses the horizon at each latitude. Distances from cities to lines are approximate.

How it connects to your star sign

This tool uses the tropical zodiac and an analytical ephemeris unless the method says otherwise. Astrology is a symbolic tradition, not a scientific test.

Common questions

Can this tool predict what will happen?

No. It calculates astronomical positions and presents traditional symbolism. It cannot guarantee events or replace practical judgment.

Are my details private?

Calculations run in your browser. Place search uses the selected city name with a geocoding service; the reading itself does not require an account.
