What is the Natal Chart Calculator?

A natal chart is a map of the sky for a particular birth time and place. The tool calculates planetary positions, major aspects, element balance and chart themes. Birth time is needed for the rising sign, Midheaven and houses.

If the birth time is unknown, the report still covers most planets and clearly marks house-based details as unavailable.

How it works

The birth time is converted to UTC with the location time zone. Planetary positions are calculated by the built-in analytical ephemeris. Houses use Placidus cusps when a birth time is provided, and whole sign houses for births at 65 degrees of latitude or more, where Placidus can fail.

How it connects to your star sign

This tool uses the tropical zodiac and an analytical ephemeris unless the method says otherwise. Astrology is a symbolic tradition, not a scientific test.

Common questions

Can this tool predict what will happen?

No. It calculates astronomical positions and presents traditional symbolism. It cannot guarantee events or replace practical judgment.

Are my details private?

Calculations run in your browser. Place search uses the selected city name with a geocoding service; the reading itself does not require an account.
