What is the Planetary Hours Clock?

Planetary hours are an old timing system that assigns each hour to a planet in a repeating sequence. Day hours run from sunrise to sunset; night hours run from sunset to the next sunrise, so their length changes with the season.

This is a calendar calculation and a cultural practice. It does not identify a universally best time for an important decision.

How it works

Sunrise, sunset and the next sunrise are calculated for the chosen coordinates. Daylight and night are each divided into twelve equal parts, then the traditional Chaldean planetary sequence is applied.

How it connects to your star sign

This tool uses the tropical zodiac and an analytical ephemeris unless the method says otherwise. Astrology is a symbolic tradition, not a scientific test.

Common questions

Can this tool predict what will happen?

No. It calculates astronomical positions and presents traditional symbolism. It cannot guarantee events or replace practical judgment.
