What is the Personal Year Calculator?
Numerology sees life as moving in nine-year cycles. Each year has a number from 1 to 9: a 1 year is for starting, a 5 year brings change, a 9 year is for finishing and letting go. This number is your Personal Year.
Inside each year, every month and day has its own number too. Your Personal Month and Personal Day are like the weather inside the season. The Universal Year is the number of the calendar year itself, a shared background mood for everyone.
How it works
Personal Year = your birth month + your birth day + the calendar year, reduced. For example, born 29 July, in 2026: 7 + (2+9=11 -> 2) + (2+0+2+6=10 -> 1) = 10 -> 1. Personal Month = Personal Year + the calendar month, reduced. Personal Day = Personal Month + the calendar day, reduced. If a year total lands on 11 or 22 it is noted as a master year, while its place in the cycle uses the root (2 or 4).
This tool uses the calendar-year method (the year changes on 1 January), which is the most widely used. Some numerologists change the year on your birthday instead; the report notes your birthday so you can allow for both.
How it connects to your star sign
Each Personal Year number has a planet and a sign. A 1 year echoes the Sun and Leo (stepping forward), a 7 year echoes Neptune and Pisces (going inward). The report also shows your sun sign so you can compare your yearly theme with your basic nature.
