A photo in. A mapped reading out.

Hold your hand flat, palm facing the camera, in even light. You can read one hand or both. In palmistry the hand you write with is usually read as the life you are making, and the other as what you started with.

What Palm Studio actually does

Most "AI palm readings" on the internet send your photo to a server, and many of them do not look at your hand at all. Palm Studio works differently. Two real models run inside this page: a hand landmark model that finds your palm and 21 points on it, and a line model that traces the main creases. Your photo is turned into a reading on your own device and is never uploaded.

From those traces the studio measures things that palmistry has always cared about: how long each major line is, how deep and unbroken it looks, how curved the heart line is, whether the head line joins the life line at the start, and how the mounts (the padded areas under each finger) sit. Those measurements are then read against traditional palmistry meanings.

How to take a photo that works

  • Open your hand flat and relax your fingers, do not stretch them apart.
  • Face your palm straight at the camera, not at an angle.
  • Use soft, even light. Hard shadows and direct flash hide the creases.
  • Fill most of the frame with your hand, with a plain background if you can.
  • Take off rings if they cover a line.

What it can and cannot tell you

Palmistry is a symbolic tradition, not a medical or scientific test. The measurements are real, but what they are said to mean comes from centuries of folklore, not from evidence. A line on your hand cannot show how long you will live, predict an illness, or decide anything about your future. Read it as a prompt for reflection, and make real decisions with real information.

If you want to explore the ideas without a photo, the palmistry tools walk you through hand shape, mounts, finger ratios and the major lines by guided questions instead.

Common questions

Is my photo uploaded anywhere?

No. The hand model and the line model are downloaded to your browser and run there. Your photo stays on your device and is not sent to us or to anyone else.

Why is the first reading slow?

The first run downloads the models, which are a few megabytes. After that your browser keeps them cached, so later readings start much faster.

Which hand should I use?

If you read only one, use the hand you write with. Tradition treats that hand as the life you are actively making, and the other hand as what you were born with. Reading both lets the studio compare them.

It says it cannot find my hand. What now?

That usually means the palm is at an angle, too small in the frame, or in shadow. Move to softer light, hold your hand flat and square to the camera, and fill more of the frame.

Can a palm reading predict my future or my health?

No. Palmistry is a cultural and symbolic practice. It is not a way to predict events or to assess health, and nothing here is medical advice. If you have a health worry, speak to a doctor.

Frame your open palm

Hold your hand flat, palm to the camera, filling most of the frame.
