The short version
- There are no accounts and no sign-up.
- Our tools run in your browser. Birth details, answers and photos are processed on your device and are not stored on our servers. The one exception is talking with Parisa and Zahir, our AI guides: those messages (and a castle palm photo) go to an AI service to be answered, and are not stored by us.
- "My readings" and your saved details live only in your browser, and you can clear them at any time.
- We do not add advertising trackers.
- A few features need to talk to an outside service, most importantly the chat with our Mystiques, Parisa and Zahir. We list every one below.
What happens when you use a tool
When you type your date of birth, answer a quiz or add a photo, the calculation happens inside your browser on your own device. The details you enter are not sent to us and we do not keep them.
Photo tools (such as palm, face or tea leaf readings) read the image on your device. They measure simple things like colours, brightness and shapes. The photo is not uploaded to our servers.
PDF reports are created in your browser too. When you download a PDF, the file goes straight to your device.
"My readings" and saved details
To save you typing, the site can remember your name, date, time and place of birth. It also keeps a history of readings you have made, which you can see on My readings.
All of this is kept in your browser's local storage (a small storage area inside your browser, on your device). It is not sent to us. Other people using a different device cannot see it. You can delete it at any time from the My readings page, or by clearing your browser's site data. If you use private browsing, it is usually erased when you close the window.
Outside services we use
Place search
Some astrology and Vedic tools ask for your place of birth. When you search for a place, the city name you type is sent to Open-Meteo's free geocoding service. It sends back matching places with their coordinates (latitude and longitude) and time zone, which the tool needs for accurate charts. Only the text you type into the place box is sent. Your date and time of birth are not.
AI-labelled tools
Some tools carry an AI label. These tools run fully on your device, using real calculations and written meaning tables. They do not send your answers anywhere.
Talking with Parisa and Zahir
Parisa and Zahir are our AI guides. When you chat with them, in the castle or with "Ask" or "Explain it to me" on a tool page, your messages and the text of your reading are sent through OpenRouter to an AI model (Anthropic Claude) so it can write their replies. In the castle palm reading, the photo of your palm is sent the same way so the guide can read it. Please do not share private or sensitive details in the chat.
We do not store your messages, readings or photos. Our server keeps only a cost log (date, which guide, which reading and the cost, with no message text) and small daily counters used for fair use, keyed by a random device number your browser creates and a scrambled (hashed) form of your IP address. The counters are deleted after three days.
One free reading a day
During our free launch each visitor receives one reading a day. To know this, your browser remembers the time and name of your last reading in its local storage (keys "mt-day" and "mt-uid"). This stays on your device and you can clear it with your browser's site data.
Fonts
We load typefaces from Google Fonts so the site is easy to read. As with any web font service, your browser connects to their servers to download the font files, which means they receive your IP address and basic browser information.
Hosting
The site is hosted by Hostinger. Like almost every website, the hosting servers may keep standard logs of requests, such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. These logs help deliver the site and keep it secure.
Cookies and tracking
We do not use advertising cookies or ad trackers. The site uses your browser's local storage only for the features described above, such as saved details, reading history and your theme choice.
Sharing a reading
If you press "Copy link" on a report, the link contains the details needed to recreate that reading. Anyone you send the link to can see the reading. Only share it with people you trust.
Children
The site is not designed for young children, and we do not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone.
Your choices and questions
You can use every tool without giving us anything. You can clear your saved data at any time. For privacy questions, email contact@mystic.tools.
If we change how the site handles information, we will update this page and the date at the top before the change takes effect. This page explains our practices in plain language. It is not a legal analysis for every country.
