What is the Celtic Cross Spread?

The Celtic Cross is a ten-position tarot layout. Each position gives a card a specific role, from the central situation to hopes, environment and a possible direction.

The spread is extensive, so treat it as a set of prompts rather than a fixed prediction. You remain free to disagree with any interpretation.

How it works

Ten distinct cards are drawn and laid out in the traditional Celtic Cross: a cross of six with card 2 laid across card 1, and a staff of four on the right read from the bottom up. Each card is read in its position, then five classic pairings (the core cross, root and crown, past and future, you and the outcome, outside and inside) are compared by tone and element.

How it connects to your star sign

Tarot correspondences vary by deck and tradition. Where this tool uses a specific correspondence system, the report names it. Card symbolism is for reflection, not prediction.

Common questions

Can these cards tell me what another person thinks?

No. A card reading cannot reveal another person’s private thoughts or guarantee future events.

Are the cards randomly selected?

The draws use a browser-generated random seed and a shuffled deck. Your report explains the draw used for this tool.

Is this professional advice?

No. Card readings are symbolic reflection. Use qualified support and ordinary evidence for consequential decisions.
