What is the AI Custom Ritual Scriptwriter?
A ritual is just a small sequence of actions you do on purpose, in a set order, to mark something. Lighting a candle on a birthday cake is a ritual. So is a two minute pause before a difficult phone call. The reason people reach for them at big moments is simple: a ritual turns a vague feeling into something your body does, and that makes it stick.
This tool writes you one. You pick from nine intentions, and each one has its own core practice: a release intention burns or drops something, a fresh start plants a seed, a protection intention draws a circle, a clarity intention asks a question and listens. Then you tick what you actually own. The script only ever uses the items you have, so nobody is sent shopping. If you have nothing at all, you get a version that needs only your hands and your breath.
Timing uses the real moon phase for the date you choose, calculated rather than guessed. Tradition pairs the growing (waxing) moon with building and attracting, and the shrinking (waning) moon with releasing and clearing. When your intention and the phase disagree, the script does not pretend otherwise: it reframes the wording so the ritual still makes sense, and tells you the next date that would suit it better.
You also choose a voice. Secular mindfulness uses plain, grounded language with no magic in it. Witchy or pagan uses the traditional form with circle casting, directions and rhyming lines. Minimal strips everything back to a few sentences. The core steps stay the same in all three.
How it works
The moon phase comes from a mean synodic month calculation: the number of days since a known new moon (6 January 2000, 18:14 UTC) divided by 29.530588853 days, which gives the age of the moon in the current cycle. That age sets the phase name out of the eight standard phases, the percentage lit, and whether the moon is waxing or shrinking. The same calculation finds your next new moon and next full moon dates. Your sun season comes from the sun sign for the date.
The script itself is assembled, not drawn at random. Your intention supplies an element, a colour, a core practice and three versions of the words you say (one per style). Your chosen items each carry an element, and the core practice picks up only the lines that your items can actually support, falling back to hands-and-breath alternatives when an item is missing. Your minutes budget is divided across six steps, with the heart of the ritual always getting the largest share.
Safety notes are generated from your own item list, not bolted on generically. Tick a candle and you get candle and fire safety. Tick oils and you get a dilution and patch test note. Tick water and you get a note about what is safe to drink. The correspondence table at the end shows every traditional link the script used, so you can see where each choice came from.
How it connects to your star sign
Two sign connections matter in a ritual script. The first is the sign the Sun is in on your chosen date, which sets the season and mood of the whole thing: a fire season suits bold starts, a water season suits release and rest. The second is Cancer, which is ruled by the Moon and is therefore the sign most tied to moon rituals and the rhythm of the phases. Your report also names a sign belonging to your intention element, since fire intentions (courage, gratitude, release) borrow from the fire signs, air intentions (fresh starts, clarity) from the air signs, water intentions (love, healing) from the water signs and earth intentions (money, protection) from the earth signs.
